As part of its long-standing commitment to corporate societal responsibility, Technology and Strategy has decided to renew its commitment through its corporate sponsorship program. This initiative is fully in line with our CSR strategy, which focuses on supporting projects with social or environmental goals by our collaborator’s organizations.
It is material or financial support given, without direct counterpart on the part of the beneficiary, to a work or a legal entity for the exercise of activities of general interest.
How does sponsorship take place at T&S?
To bring this project to life, our sponsorship committee was tasked with selecting the most relevant projects. Each year, this committee evaluates propositions based on a number of criteria such as consistency with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the company's values and the social and environmental impact of the organization. But also the employee’s commitment and involvement within the organization he or she is representing. As a result, all our collaborators were invited to recommend non-profit organizations and to demonstrate their involvement in this approach.
Out of the 11 recommendations received for 2024, four projects were selected to receive a funding of 1,000 euros. These organizations, working in various fields, address current issues and are helping to improve the daily lives of many people. Our support for these organizations has allowed us to strengthen our collaborators' spirit of solidarity and create links with our local environment.
“I'm especially proud of the sponsorship initiative that the ESG teams have brilliantly carried out. By supporting the non-profit organizations in which our collaborators are strongly invested, the Technology & Strategy Group demonstrates its commitment and its will to create a positive impact, which contributes to building a more equitable and supportive world. A big thank you to all the collaborators who took part in this success, and may this initiative inspire many other projects in the future” - Jérémie Huss, CEO Technology & Strategy Group
“We are proud at Technology & Strategy to count specialists with strong values among our collaborators. We are proud to be able to offer them, through this sponsorship program, the opportunity to share their commitment to projects that are close to their hearts. As Technology & Strategy's Director of Talent and ESG, I'm delighted to see this initiative fully in line with our Corporate Social Responsibility approach.” - Sophie Breton, Talent and ESG Director Technology & Strategy Group
Submitted by Jeroen Van Der Meulen of Topic, the Netherlands swimming club “Eindhovense Watervrienden” was founded in 1957. This dynamic swimming club has more than 500 members and a team of 80 dedicated volunteers. Eindhovense Watervrienden's commitment goes far beyond swimming. In fact, the club stands out for its intention to include all people, whatever their age, capabilities, or situation.
The swimming organization offers specialized swimming sessions for people with physical, intellectual, or autistic disabilities. They provide a supportive environment with trained volunteers to ensure everyone can enjoy and benefit from swimming. Thanks to adapted courses, people with special needs and unaccompanied young refugees get the chance to discover the pleasure of the water, learn to swim and improve their well-being.
“Zwemvereniging de Eindhovense Watervrienden is delighted with the support provided by the Technology & Strategy Group sponsorship initiative. Thanks to this important help, we will be able to develop swimming for handicapped people. Indeed, exercise is not only an opportunity to work on one's physical fitness, it also complements the social life of many participants. Due to the success of our activity and the distance of the pool for some people living in the south of Eindhoven, we will be able to extend our activities for handicapped people in the recently built part of a pool in the south of Eindhoven.” - Jeroen van der Meulen
Thanks to our support, Eindhovense Watervrienden will be able to offer more sessions for people with disabilities.

Mathilde du Parc from Intys highlighted the Abantu Zambia. For 30 years, her organizations has been working with Zambian communities to improve their living conditions. Taking a participative approach, the organization supports projects initiated by the communities themselves, in such varied sectors as education, health and economic development. Thanks to this approach, Abantu Zambia has built schools, improved access to healthcare and empowered local populations. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the organization is organizing a special charity fund-raising evening on November 5.
Abantu Zambia's missions are many and varied, but the main difference between Abantu Zambia and other associations in the field is that each project is Zambian-initiated and aims to be financially self-sufficient as soon as it is set up. This means that local people refer to the various contact points in the country to put forward their ideas for impact projects such as agriculture, health, education and electrification. Then, once the project has been determined, Abantu raises the necessary funds in Belgium to help these local initiatives see the light of day. It's an association that works at the heart of the country's needs, while leaving them autonomous management.
Over the last 35 years, Abantu has supported thousands of students in their school and university education, with the aim of offering better prospects to the young generations who will build the country's future. At the same time, many projects aimed at improving healthcare in the most remote areas have been developed, such as the construction of numerous clinics, nursing homes, maternity wards etc.
“Food self-sufficiency is still a big battle for the country, which is suffering severely from climate disruption, and Abantu's mission in this area remains key in the country, thanks in particular to its major involvement in the country's reforestation and agricultural education and access to quality farm seeds at very democratic prices. Thanks to the help of Technology & Strategy, Abantu will be able to take part in the construction of a well that will supply a village with drinking water and enable the villagers to improve their health.” - Mathilde du Parc
The latest project we are supporting was presented to us by Alexis Martin from Degetel. This is Nanterre en Transition, a local initiative actively working for an ecological transition in the region.
“Nanterre en Transition is an organization with strong values of solidarity, respect for the environment and active citizen participation. By supporting our non-profit organizations, T&S is helping to promote a more sustainable development model and encourage civic involvement. T&S's patronage will enable us to implement new innovative projects, including the creation of a village with alternatives for inventing the sustainable Nanterreof tomorrow.” - Alexis Martin
By federating citizens, businesses and public players, the organization organizes events and projects aimed at improving our environment and preserving it. Workshops, participative worksites, the village of alternatives... so many initiatives, that testify to the dynamism and creativity of this organization. Driven by values of solidarity and respect for nature, Nanterre en Transition is a key player in the local ecological transition.
“At T&S, we are committed to making a difference and are proud to support non-profit organizations that align with our CSR values. We give our employees the opportunity to present the organizations in which they are involved, and the causes they are passionate about! Every year, we provide financial support to various organizations across Europe, extending our positive impact beyond the workplace.” - Rivka Mangold, CSR Manager
By supporting these four projects, Technology and Strategy Group is reaffirming its commitment to a more equitable and sustainable world. These initiatives, led by passionate and innovative organizations, have a real impact on the lives of many people. This sponsorship program is a wonderful illustration of our commitment to CSR. It's a source of satisfaction for our collaborators, who feel fully involved in a responsible and supportive approach. Together, we are demonstrating that a company can be both successful and generous, while leaving a positive mark on society.
