At T&S, we place a strong emphasis on investing in the professional development of our team members. As part of our commitment to supporting your career growth, we offer personalized training programs that are tailored to your individual needs.
Given the highly competitive nature of our industry, our expertise sets us apart from the competition. The advanced technical skills of our staff enable us to access a wide range of national and international projects, and to consistently meet the demands of our clients. We recognize that ongoing technical and language training is essential for the continuous development of our team members.
Since 2022, we have established our own internal training academy, which provides both group training sessions and individualized follow-up.
This training program, created in 2021 by our Autosar Practice Leader and T&S Autosar Service Center Manager Constantin Chabirand, provides our collaborators with the necessary skills and knowledge.
AUTOSAR, which stands for “AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture,” is a global development partnership of automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and tool developers. Its main goal is to establish an open and standardized software architecture for automotive electronic control units (ECUs) that can be used across all vehicle platforms.
By doing so, AUTOSAR aims to improve the interoperability, scalability, and portability of software components and reduce development time and costs. The AUTOSAR standard is widely used in the automotive industry and has become a crucial element of modern vehicle development.
The Autosar Academy offers 6-week on-site training sessions, each tailored to meet the unique needs of its participants. Each course is led by experienced instructors who are dedicated to helping our team members succeed. The Academy, so far, has successfully hosted 6 sessions. Training 26 T&S engineers from Stuttgart, Lyon and Toulouse, over a single year.
The training is aimed for consultants with little to no knowledge of AUTOSAR and who are keen to join this domain of activities.
During the training, different topics are addressed with both a theoretical and practical aspect. This allows the participants to understand and master the different key elements of a project in the AUTOSAR environment. The main goal is to give the consultant an overview of what can be done with an AUTOSAR architecture and how to achieve it, while becoming familiar with the specific tools of this working environment.
After 6 weeks in this program, the participants will have enough knowledge to start a mission in an AUTOSAR environment and to succeed in customer qualification meetings.
A consultant with AUTOSAR skills can join the offices in Stuttgart, Toulouse, Paris or Lyon on a wide variety of assignments with different OEMs and car manufacturers. Consultants can work on basic software development and integration projects.
The final application topics cover all the embedded systems of a vehicle, such as LiDAR sensors, engine control, battery management, electric vehicle charging … etc.
One of the great things about the Autosar Academy is that it is open to all collaborators in the company. T&S believes that investing in our collaborators’ professional development is key to our success. The Autosar Academy is just one of the many ways we’re committed to helping our team members grow and thrive.
