Functional Architect

Mission

The Functional Architect defines the functional content of the Information System so that it is aligned with the expected business functionalities. He/she ensures that the functional content evolves at the same time as the company’s business activities. He is the guarantor of the coherence of the whole.

Main activities

• Analyze the company’s functionalities
• Identify the company’s applications and their positioning with respect to functionalities
• Carry out a diagnosis of the alignment of applications and functionalities (studies of data flows, etc.).
• Write the functional target: the urban plan
• Maintain and regularly update the urban plan
• Disseminate the mapping of the Information System to users and promote it to the business divisions and the general management.

Additional activities

Provide support and expertise to application pre-projects.
